The Alderney Wildlife Trust works to preserve the island's biodiversity by helping people to gain a better understanding of their island and through this to:
- encourage a sustainable Alderney where people and biodiversity coexist.
- promote the conservation of Alderney's terrestrial and marine habitats, places of scientific interest, amenity value and natural beauty.
- educate the public about the importance of sustainable development, biodiversity conservation and Alderney's wildlife.
