Paul Griffin
Paul has spent much of his life moving back and forth between Great Britain and his native Canada. In 2000 he made the final move to Newcastle upon Tyne. In 2011 he graduated from the University of Durham with an MSci Hons in Geoscience. His degree took him to a variety of field locations from the Lake District to the South West USA.
After a year of dividing his time between peatland management, bat surveying, grey squirrel control and IT consultancy, Paul moved to Alderney in February 2013 to become “Terrestrial Ecologist” for the Alderney Wildlife Trust. He is responsible for the Terrestrial Surveys for the 2013/2014 period and the development of the Alderney Record Centre and AWT website.
His interests are ecology, geology, climate change, fine art and sustainable living.
He can be contacted in person at the AWT offices or through ecologist@alderneywildlife.org.
