VEON withdraws from discussions with UCom CJSC related to potential transaction in Armenia

Amsterdam, 6 May 2020 – VEON Ltd. (NASDAQ and Euronext Amsterdam: VEON), a leading global provider of connectivity and internet services, has withdrawn  from discussions with UCom CJSC related to a potential transaction involving its operating company in Armenia, which was previously disclosed on 15 January 2020.
