VimpelCom appoints Bart Morselt as Head of Investor Relations

Amsterdam (July 31, 2015) - VimpelCom Ltd. (“VimpelCom”, “Company” or “Group”) (NASDAQ: VIP), a leading global provider of telecommunications services, headquartered in Amsterdam, today announces that Bart Morselt has been appointed Group Head of Investor Relations, succeeding Gerbrand Nijman, who was recently appointed CFO of Global Telecom Holding.

Mr. Morselt will start on September 1, 2015 and will report to Group CFO Andrew Davies. He was previously Head of Investor Relations at Swisscom, where he also held several board memberships in Swisscom group companies as well as in the Swiss IR society. He holds a MSc economics and finance from the university of Groningen.
